Professional Support
Helping children attend school isn’t enough.
To reach their full potential, deaf students need teachers equipped with the training and tools necessary to provide a high-quality education.
We support SEMAFI in funding training programs for teachers and purchasing materials and equipment staff need to support students’ learning and development.

Our Work
Provide teachers with classroom materials like vocabulary flashcards and enrichment activities
Support the development of SEMAFI’s new vocational training program by funding tools and materials
Fund professional development trainings for SEMAFI teachers
Provide funding to SEMAFI to hire additional support staff fluent in Malagsy Sign Language
Provide equipment to SEMAFI staff who work directly with students, such as dorm parents and kitchen staff
